These terms govern renting a vehicle on rentabl.ch. Part A applies to everyone, part B to renters. Owners who entrust a vehicle to the network are covered by a separate document, the Owner terms. Version 2.1, effective 17 September 2026.

A1. Who you contract with

Rentabl is operated by Boost Agency SA, a Swiss company registered under UID CHE-660.3.372.019-0 in Geneva (“Rentabl”). Contact: contact@rentabl.ch. You contract with Rentabl as soon as you create an account, book a vehicle, accept these terms in an online flow or join Rentabl Connect.

A2. What Rentabl does

Rentabl connects owners of premium vehicles with renters and manages the rental end to end: listing, renter screening, rental contract, key handover and return, condition reports, collection, dispute handling. Rentabl neither owns nor rents out the vehicles: the owner remains the owner in law. Rentabl Check is the management app provided to owners; Rentabl Connect is the network of managers who carry out missions on the ground.

A3. Your account

• You must be of legal age and provide accurate information, which you keep up to date.
• Your credentials are personal. You are responsible for what is done from your account.
• Rentabl may suspend an account in case of fraud, false statements or a serious breach of these terms, after informing you unless urgent.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app or by writing to contact@rentabl.ch. Data needed for ongoing contracts and legal obligations is kept for the required time.

B. Renters — B1. Conditions to rent

• A valid driving licence held for at least three years; some vehicles require a higher age or licence seniority, stated on the listing.
• An identity document and a recent proof of address, provided before key handover.
• Only drivers declared on the contract may drive the vehicle.
• Rentabl and the owner may decline a booking without giving reasons, in particular if the file is incomplete.

B2. Booking, deposit and cancellation

• The booking is confirmed upon payment of the stated down payment. The balance is settled as set out in the confirmation.
• The down payment is non-refundable. Depending on the notice given, a credit on a later rental may be offered.
• Any cancellation or extension is requested in writing to contact@rentabl.ch. An extension is only granted once confirmed.
• Handover and return place and time are in the confirmation. A late return is charged at the vehicle daily rate, pro rata.

B3. Deposit and condition report

• Before key handover, a card imprint is taken as a deposit, for the amount stated on the listing.
• A digital condition report, with photos and video, is made at departure and return. It is binding between the parties.
• The deposit covers costs attributable to the renter: damage found on return, exceptional cleaning, missing fuel, excess mileage, fines and charges received during the rental. If these costs exceed the deposit, the renter remains liable for the balance.
• The vehicle is returned in the same condition and cleanliness as at departure.

B4. Use of the vehicle

• Each rental includes the mileage stated on the listing. Kilometres beyond it are charged at the vehicle per-kilometre rate, doubled if the excess was not announced before return.
• Prohibited: subletting, driving by an undeclared third party, any competition or track use, towing, paid transport of people or goods, and leaving the authorised countries without written consent.
• The renter complies with traffic law; fines, surcharges and handling fees are re-invoiced.
• In case of breakdown or accident, the renter immediately informs the contact on the contract and only has repairs done with their agreement.

Owners and managers

If you entrust a vehicle to the Rentabl network, the Owner terms apply instead: rentabl.ch/blog/conditions-proprietaire. Rentabl Connect managers are covered by their own terms, provided when they join.

E1. Personal data

• Rentabl processes your data to deliver the service: identity, contact details, verification documents, vehicle information, rental and payment history.
• It is shared only with those who need it for the mission: the owner and renter of the same rental, the assigned manager, and our payment and hosting providers, bound by contract to confidentiality.
• It is kept for the duration of the relationship, then for the statutory retention periods (ten years for accounting records) and claim periods.
• You may request access, correction or deletion of your data from the app or at contact@rentabl.ch. Audience measurement is described in the separate privacy policy.

E2. Liability

Rentabl is responsible for organising the service as described here: renter screening according to the stated criteria, condition reports, collection, dispute handling. Rentabl is not responsible for inherent defects of the vehicle, for the tax and administrative obligations of its users, nor for damage resulting from use contrary to these terms. Rentabl liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage, except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Neither party is liable for an impediment due to force majeure.

E3. Changes to these terms

Rentabl may amend these terms. Any amendment is published on this page and notified to the users concerned at least thirty days before it takes effect. A user who refuses it may end the relationship without notice before that date; ongoing contracts remain subject to the terms accepted.

E4. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, subject to mandatory forums provided by law.
